Real Estate, Inheritance and Civil Law Services
For more than 20 years, we have been providing high quality legal services to our clients, in both Spanish and English. Our primary areas of practice are Estate and Real Estate Law. Additionally, we handle matters related to Family Law such as: prenuptial agreements, emancipations, uncontested divorces, and more. All these areas of practice are interrelated with Puerto Rico’s notarial law, which establishes that only duly licensed attorneys who have passed the Bar and the Notary exam, can execute public deeds related to the aforementioned legal matters. Attorney Leticia León is duly licensed both as an Attorney and a Notary, and stays up to date with new laws and regulations.
We pride ourselves in delivering skilled and timely services to each of our clients. The quality of our services, as well as our responsiveness and honest communication with our clients distinguish us.
Who We Are
Services
-
Real Estate
Puerto Rico’s Real Estate environment is highly active and the relocation of individuals, as well of companies from other jurisdictions of the United States, is on the rise. Our clients are both Puerto Ricans that desire to come back home, as well as Americans and international clients, who have chosen to acquire property on our tropical island.
-
Legal Matters without court intervention
Puerto Rico's Law 282 of 1999, known as the law of Non contentious Matters before Notaries, allows us to solve different matters, for which clients were previously required to appear before a judge, here at our office.
-
Probate and Wills
In the U.S. system, inheritance laws are particular to every state or territory, therefore, what applies in one state or territory, might not apply in another. This makes it important, for people with assets in Puerto Rico, to understand local laws regarding wills and probate proceedings.
-
